3, Miho no Matsubara

"Miho no Matsubara" is a scenic area of the Miho Peninsula.

It is a registered constituent asset of the “Fujisan, sacred place and source of artistic inspiration” UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.

6, Kunozan Toshogu Shrine

The shrine has a history of over 400 years, and enshrines Lord Tokugawa Ieyasu, who founded the Tokugawa Shogunate in 1603 that brought peace to Japan for 265 years.

7, Numazu Deep Sea Aquarium

The world's first deep-sea fish aquarium, displaying deep-sea creatures from Suruga Bay and unusual creatures from around the world.

 

The main attraction is the "Coelacanth Museum," which displays a 350-million-year-old "living fossil" coelacanth that has been carved and frozen.

9, Shimizu Port Kashinoichi(Shimizu fish market)

Shimizu Fish Market "Kashinoichi" is a gathering of intermediate wholesalers with the desire to "eat fresh and delicious fish more casually".

wholesaler sells directly as a kitchen in the local Shimizu Port.

10, Shiraito Falls

"Shiraito Falls" is one of Japan’s top 100 waterfalls.

 

Spring water of Mt. Fuji falls as thin streams that resemble white threads (shiraito) across the 150-meter-wide and 20-meter-high cascade.

There are short walking trails down to the base of the waterfall where visitors can enjoy cool and refreshing mist.

11, Sumatakyo-yumenotsuribashi

"Sumatakyo", where the "Yume no Tsuribashi Bridge" is located, is the entrance to the Southern Alps on the Shizuoka Prefecture side.

A suspension bridge with a length of 90m and a height of about 8m, it is a symbol of Sumatakyo.

 

Looking down at the emerald green surface of the lake that was dammed up by the Oma Dam, just pass a simple board over the walking part, and it will sway slightly as you walk, making it a thrilling experience.

There is a point overlooking this suspension bridge in the middle of the promenade, which is a perfect camera angle.
